AN EARLY START
The Linen Drawer journey started early this year. In fact you could say we were up and running at the crowing of the roosters. This would be totally appropriate as 2017 is the Year of the Rooster according to the Chinese Almanac. So once again Linen Drawer is on trend and in tune!
We have an exciting year ahead. New products are being investigated, new machinery for the factory is being purchased, our embroidery division is going from strength to strength (watch this space – new designs in the pipeline), and our staff are attending courses and seminars to develop skills which will benefit themselves, Linen Drawer and our customers.
The factory is bursting out of its seams, and we are looking forward to new ironing equipment and more satin stitching machines. These will enable us to execute orders and customisation faster. Our team of dedicated workers take such pride in their work and form such a lively dynamic addition to the Linen Drawer family.

In the “front of house”, where the quotes and orders are processed and all the other administrative work is done, we have no changes, except for new technology which has been updated and improved. This also speeds up all processes resulting in a better service to our customers. The friendly, efficient staff are always ready to assist customers with expert advice, should they require.

Jimmy, our busy CEO, is often meeting and networking with potential and existing clients, conducting laundry training seminars, addressing Hotel School students, and ensuring that the business frame-work of Linen Drawer is advanced and maintained, resulting in superb customer service and consistent, excellent quality of product. He takes care of the big picture, while keeping a firm hand on the daily running of the business!

We are looking forward to exhibiting our products at Decorex – at the Cape Town exhibition at the end of April and in Johannesburg in mid- August. Planning the stand, selecting product and generally ensuring that the whole process runs smoothly has started and the assistance of Vanessa and Jeff, our Cape Town and Boland agents, has been harnessed to help in the process.
